Top-rated comic book stores in Utah
How this list is ranked: each shop's Google rating multiplied by its number of Google reviews, so a shop needs both a high rating and a lot of reviews to place well. Only shops with 10 or more reviews count. 13 of the 13 comic shops we list in Utah qualify; these are the top 10.

The Nerd Store

Back issuesI love how this store is so spacious and not cramped like other comic book stores. I also love how clean and organized it is! They have collectibles, manga, comic books, card games, and other cool stuff. They also have tables in the back that you can sit at and play games.

Gamers Asylum

This is the store I've been looking for. I wanted to find a local shop with MTG cards and accessories, and boy did I find it! They've got cases of individual cards for sale, and it looked like they had even more cards that are organized into binders which you can peruse upon request.

Dragons Keep

Back issuesI spent 8 hours here for a Star Wars Armada tournament and the things that stuck out were the friendly staff, the amount of tables for gaming, and the cheap water bottles.

Black Cat Comics

Back issuesMangaIndie & small pressJust got into collecting this month with my wife. She is going through cancer treatment and comic books have been a great diversion for the both of us. Some days all she can do is lie in bed as we talk about the stories we've read or what we're looking forward to picking up next.

Back issuesA good place for comics. I like the Ogden and Layton location. I wrote this 7 years ago, and the Ogden store is much bigger now. Worth a visit, will be here more and still stop by the Layton store if in area. This was the best place for comics in Ogden. Still probably is.

Dragon's Keep Lehi

Back issuesWe stopped by this shop while visiting family in the area, and even though we didn’t end up finding anything to purchase this time, we genuinely enjoyed the experience. The store has a great atmosphere—clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate—which immediately made it a comfortable place to browse.

This is our son’s favorite comic book store. I swear he could spend hours in here looking at comics if we’d let him. They have a huge variety and I feel like they are all priced well. They also have “retro” toys, posters, and games (video, card, and board).

Comics Plus
4.5★★★★★ 184 reviews
Pull listsBack issuesI’ve been coming to Comics Plus since they were located on Sunset Blvd. A lot of the negative reviews on here just don’t seem to add up. David (owner) has always been kind, helpful, and has fair prices. It seems like a lot of people don’t realize that he is deaf.
