Top-rated comic book stores in New York

How this list is ranked: each shop's Google rating multiplied by its number of Google reviews, so a shop needs both a high rating and a lot of reviews to place well. Only shops with 10 or more reviews count. 150 of the 163 comic shops we list in New York qualify; these are the top 10.

This place is awesome if you are a comic Nerd or just into cool things. It's in or off time Square a little bit of rift raft on the outside before you get in sometimes but never a issue or being bothered with.

This place is awesome! As someone who lives in Chicago I had to make this a stop on my New York trip. Great selection and fantastic staff! Had a nice chat on AEW with the staff. I'll be coming back next time! 5 stars.

Never gets old... This is my favorite comic book shop for a while now. A few years ago I brought my son for a treat and ever since it has become a huge treat to get there a few times a year. The selection of comic books, and books on Marvel characters is great!

We had a fantastic experience! The food was completely delicious. We started with cheese sticks, they were just perfect! Seriously the best cheese sticks I've ever had! We also had garlic parm boneless wings, the Kentucky BBQ burger, a Ruben, and the Chicago Beef.

This place is like a nostalgic time warp! It’s packed with games, videos, figures, and comics. I love stopping by to check out their inventory, as it changes frequently. I recently bought five PS3 games and several video disks, and they’ve been great so far.

A great card shop tucked away on the second floor off a busy midtown street. I like to get Yugioh packs here and they also sell some decent Pokemon singles.

Full service comic book shop that also has Pokemon and Magic cards. The staff is knowledgeable and available. The place is two floors full of all the things that round out a collector's desire. Action figures and related paraphernalia are readily available.

I bring my son here at least every other Friday after his taekwondo. Its a great local store where the staff is fully knowledgeable on all things geek. It's the perfect place for me to geek out with my son. The downside is having to explain my purchase to the wife! LOL

10. 10

True Believers Gaming & Collectibles Palisades

    4.9★★★★★ 858 reviews

West Nyack, NY · 1000 Palisades Center Dr 3rd Floor
    Score 4,204 (4.9 × 858)

Really nice store with a variety of collectibles, anime merch and Pokémon cards. It's a bit over priced tho, they were selling an unofficial south park plush for like $15 😭 Other than that, its a great place and I highly recommend it.
