Before you go

  1. Call ahead. Ask if the shop is buying now and when the buyer is in. Set a time for a large collection.
  2. Sort your books. Order them by title and number, and put older books and keys on top.
  3. Ask for two numbers. Shops pay below resale in cash, and many offer more in store credit.
  4. Compare offers. With 2 buyers in Wisconsin, you can get a second opinion on your most valuable books.
