The staff was well attuned to the wants and needs of each individual and group, which is perfect for a store with such a diverse patronage. Introverts were left to browse after a polite offer to assist where needed. People that were new to the store were assisted to the nth degree.
Such a fun place, a hidden gem here in Fargo. Our daughter goes there all the time. Comics to manga, they even have fun snacks. Go check it out.
I was just here and visited with Kip, the business owner, for a bit about all sorts of books and anime culture too. He was super informative, helpful, and friendly! I bought a few books, including old Mickey Mouse comics, a Star Wars cookbook for kids, and a sticker book of older style Marvel characters.
This store is exactly like every comic store I visited in the mid 90s. This sounds like a back-handed compliment, but I mean it as high praise. The facilities are a bit threadbare, but the stock is correctly priced (not marked up), and the staff is very friendly to newbies and old-salts.
