I remember this place from when i was a teen and they just opened up (almost 30 years ago). I just revisited to take my kids to their first comic book experience and it still shines in all its glory.
I used to come here when I was much younger, Hank and all the staff he’s ever had here have always been awesome. BC is a great institution for comics, games, merchandise—they even host tournaments of every kind. Hank is a community treasure and I always stop by to seem him every time I’m in town.
I met my brother Hank Kwon probably over 30 years ago when he was a comic book street vendor with the best prices in New York City. Today, he is one of the most famous comic book store owners in the United States going from convention to convention with the same mindset he had 30 years ago.
The owner and workers are always nice, cool and very knowledgeable about the questions you ask. They have very dope deals if you become a member. They also have specials or deals going every month or every other month. Located at the Junction on Flatbush and Nostrand avenue.
