Let's start by saying i do not write many reviews....but I couldn't let this one go. Phil's Comics and Brian ( The Gentle Giant) who runs It, is the best kept secret Jewel In all Broward County !! I've been around Comics and stores for years and this Is my Go To place always for years now.
Phil’s Comic Shop consistently has the current issues I’m looking for in stock, even the ones I can’t find anywhere else. That alone earns five stars. Brian is easygoing, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. He doesn’t hover or make you feel out of place, and he’s quick to step in when you need assistance.
I recently got back into collecting after many years. As such, I have visited at least 5 different shops in the area over the last couple of weeks. To be clear, I was only shopping for comic books, not any other type of collectible. In my experience, the larger shops have good selection but high prices.
